Turbosmart pSG50 Pneumatic StraightGate - 50mm External Wastegate - Pneumatic Actuation
The Turbosmart pSG50 is a 50mm zero-offset butterfly-style external wastegate controlled by a conventional boost-referenced Gen-V actuator. The zero-offset butterfly pivots centrally, so exhaust drive pressure acts equally on both halves and the valve is self-balancing, and the straight-through path flows more than a poppet valve that has to turn the gas 90 degrees. The self-balancing valve gives a tuning window of more than five times the base spring pressure.
Note: Pre-fitted with 6psi springs, with the other springs supplied in the box. The actuator supports single or twin port boost control. Installation by a professional is recommended.
