Turbosmart MSG50 Modular StraightGate - 50mm External Wastegate
The Turbosmart MSG50 Modular StraightGate50 pairs a 50mm zero-offset butterfly-style external wastegate with selected factory electronic wastegate motors. It lets engines that came with electronic wastegate actuation keep the OE actuator while gaining a high-flowing external wastegate. The zero-offset butterfly pivots centrally, so exhaust drive pressure acts equally on both halves and the valve is self-balancing, and the straight-through path flows more than a poppet valve that has to turn the gas 90 degrees.
Note: Choose the version that matches your OE electronic wastegate actuator (Honda, BMW or VAG). Control stays with the existing electronic systems, but reprogramming is required. Installation by a professional is recommended.
