Turbosmart Kompact Shortie Dual Port Blow Off Valve - Mercedes-AMG A45 (W176) / CLA45 (C117) / GLA45 (X156)
The AMG 45 models run high boost but have no bypass valve from the factory, so they suffer significant compressor surge that is hard on the turbo bearings. The Turbosmart Kompact Shortie VR03 bolts straight onto the compressor cover of the A45, CLA45 and GLA45 turbo, and its billet body and precision-machined piston need no body O-ring, so it copes with high boost without leaking.
Note: Dual Port splits operation 50-50 between recirculating and vent-to-atmosphere. The kit includes a boost reference adaptor that gives the valve a manifold pressure signal without tapping the intake manifold, with a second port for an accessory such as a boost gauge. Installation by a professional is recommended.
