The Turbosmart Kompact EM VR1 is a plug-and-play replacement for the factory diverter valve on the VW Golf GTI and Golf R (Mk7 / Mk7.5) and Audi S3 and RS3 (8V), along with earlier Mk5 / Mk6 Golf GTI and R, Audi TT and Skoda Octavia RS TSI / TFSI models. It combines a billet aluminium valve body with an onboard solenoid and internal pressure control channels, so it plugs straight into the factory connector and bolts on in place of the OEM valve - no adaptors, reference hoses or separate solenoids are needed. Turbosmart's Boost-Balance design and a positive-seal O-ring on the piston face mean the more boost it sees, the better it seals.

Note: Dual Port vents part of the charge to atmosphere for the Turbosmart sound while recirculating the rest, keeping the factory ECU happy. Suits VW Group TSI / TFSI engines with the factory electronic diverter valve - check the fitment table for your model and generation. 1.4 TSI engines with the 2-bolt diverter valve use VR4, and 2020-on models use VR18. Please confirm the quantity required for V6 and V8 models with our team before ordering. Installation by a professional is recommended.
