Turbosmart Gen-V ALV40 - Anti-Lag Valve
The Turbosmart Gen-V ALV40 is a 40mm fresh air bypass anti-lag valve for motorsport. At low throttle openings it diverts charge air from the turbo into the exhaust manifold ahead of the turbine, helping the turbo spool without the high engine stresses of throttle-based, late-combustion anti-lag. It uses a sealed twin-chamber design that can be controlled with boost or vacuum.
Note: The top port is the primary control port; the lower chamber allows twin-port control independent of manifold pressure. Optional outlet weld flanges are available separately. Installation by a professional is recommended.
