Turbosmart BoostGate76 - Charge Air Valve - Compressed Gas 7psi
The Turbosmart Compressed Gas BoostGate76 takes the BoostGate charge air valve and replaces the electronic actuator with a diaphragm actuator built for CO2 / compressed gas boost controllers, using a custom high-pressure Nomex diaphragm for 'fill and spill' control. Unlike an external wastegate, which bypasses exhaust gas around the turbine, charge air control bleeds compressed air from the charge pipe to control boost directly. It suits applications such as drag racing where the turbo is already optimised and the turbine is not the limiting factor.
Note: The Control In Cap version has integrated fill and spill solenoids in the actuator cap for simpler plumbing and control integration. Installation by a professional is recommended.
