Radium Engineering Fuel Surge Tank for External Pumps - Universal

The Radium Engineering Fuel Surge Tank for External Pumps (SKU 20-1195) stops fuel starvation on vehicles with inadequate tank baffling. The surge tank pump(s) feed the engine directly, while the fuel held in the tank acts as a buffer that is topped up by the main tank pump and the regulator return, with excess fuel flowing back to the main tank.

It is a simple way to upgrade a standard fuel system for big power increases such as forced induction. With a surge tank fitted, the factory in-tank pump becomes the lift pump – Radium suggests targeting around 40-50% of the surge tank pump flow rate (for example, 440-550lph at 40psi to support an 1100lph at 40psi pump).

Note: Do not mount the tank horizontally, as the pick-up(s) may draw in air. Additional mounting hardware may be required depending on the installation. Installation by a professional is recommended.
