Why Injector Dynamics for BMW

Every set ships with dynamic slope flow rates, dead time values across voltage and pressure ranges, and dynamic flow matching at multiple pulse widths. That data loads straight into Haltech, MoTeC, Link, EcuTek, and bootmod3/MHD on newer factory DME platforms, which matters most on high-revving, individually-throttled engines like the S14 and S54 where pulse widths are short and margin for error is small.

On the S14, four ID1050x injectors give a turbocharged build plenty of headroom over factory. On the S50/S52 in an E36 M3, six ID1050x injectors cover the vast majority of single-turbo drift and time attack builds with room to spare. The S65 V8 needs even fuel delivery across eight cylinders to keep exhaust gas temperatures consistent under boost or supercharge, which is where ID's per-injector characterisation data earns its keep. On S58-equipped G8X cars, six ID1050x injectors handle most tuned builds on petrol or E85, with the ID1300x stepping in for cars pushing well beyond that.

Fitment & Installation

Select the correct platform option at checkout (E30 M3 88-91, E36 M3 96-99, E46 M3 01-06, E90/E92/E93 M3 07+, M54, or S58) so you get the correct plug-and-play connector and fuel rail fitment for your engine. All ID injectors are compatible with petrol, E85, E100, and methanol, with corrosion-resistant internals for long service life on E85. If you are converting to E85 or stepping up injector size, your tuner will need to reflash to suit; factory tunes are not calibrated for the new flow rate.

Yes, when you select the correct platform option. ID injectors use plug-and-play connectors matched to each engine's factory harness.

Do I need a retune after fitting bigger injectors?
Yes. Any change in injector size or a switch to E85 needs a reflash so your ECU fuels correctly at the new flow rate.

Can I run these on E85 and switch back to petrol?
Yes, ID injectors are fuel-flexible across petrol, E85, E100, and methanol. Your tune needs to account for whichever fuel is in the tank.
