Injector Dynamics Fuel Injectors for Mitsubishi
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is one of the most iconic turbocharged platforms in Australian motorsport, from the 4G63-powered Evo III through IX to the 4B11T in the Evo X. We spec Injector Dynamics into Evo builds regularly, from E85 street cars around Sydney to serious drag and time attack setups. Combined with the Galant VR4 and twin-turbo 3000GT VR4, Mitsubishi's performance lineup demands injectors that flow accurately and hold their calibration as power climbs.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III to IX, 4G63
The 4G63 is one of the most built four-cylinder turbo engines in the world. Australian Evo owners push these engines hard, from mild street cars to serious drag builds, and the factory injectors are among the first components to hit their limit. E85 is the fuel of choice for most high-power 4G63 builds, which increases fuel demand over petrol.
The Injector Dynamics ID1300x is the common starting point for the Evo III to IX platform. As a conservative guide for a matched four-cylinder set: around 400 to 500whp on petrol, and around 500 to 600whp on E85 due to the extra fuel volume required. Actual headroom depends on fuel pressure, duty cycle target and your tuner's safety margin.
For high-boost E85 and methanol builds, the ID1750x gives more headroom at a safe duty cycle: roughly 550 to 650whp on petrol and 650 to 750whp on E85 for a four-cylinder set. For extreme drag applications, the ID2600x is available and comfortably covers four-cylinder builds well beyond 750whp on E85, where duty cycle margin on smaller injectors starts to run out.
Select "Evo III to IX" when ordering.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, 4B11T
The Evo X's 4B11T is a modern MIVEC turbocharged engine with strong tuning potential. E85 conversions and big-turbo builds are common on this platform, and the factory injectors run out of headroom quickly once power climbs. The same ID1300x, ID1750x and ID2600x power ranges above apply here as a rough guide, since injector sizing is driven by fuel demand rather than the engine's cylinder head design. Select "Evo X" when ordering.
Mitsubishi Galant VR4, 4G63
The Galant VR4 shares the 4G63 with the Lancer Evolution and has a solid following in Australian drag and street performance. The same injector sizing applies as for the Evo III to IX, since it's the same engine regardless of chassis. Select "Galant VR4" when ordering.
Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, 6G72TT
The twin-turbo 3.0 litre V6 in the 3000GT VR4 is a complex but capable engine that rewards fuel system upgrades. With six cylinders and twin turbochargers, fuel demand is spread across six injectors rather than four, which changes the sizing maths, particularly on E85.
A set of six ID1300x injectors covers a wide range of realistic 3000GT power targets, roughly 450 to 550whp on petrol and 550 to 650whp on E85 for a stock-turbo or mild upgrade twin-turbo setup. Select "3000GT VR4" when ordering.
Why Injector Dynamics
Every set of Injector Dynamics injectors ships with complete characterisation data: dynamic slope flow rates, dead time values across voltage and pressure ranges, and dynamic flow matching at multiple pulse widths. This data loads directly into all major ECU platforms used in the Mitsubishi tuning community, including Haltech, MoTeC, Link, AEM, and ECUFlash/EvoScan for factory ECU tuning. Your tuner gets accurate fuelling from the first start-up rather than guessing at generic injector data.
All ID injectors are compatible with petrol, E85, E100 and methanol. The corrosion-resistant internals are built for extended service on aggressive fuels, which matters in the Evo community where E85 is standard on any serious build.
Fitment & Installation
ID injectors for these Mitsubishi platforms are supplied as plug-and-play sets with the correct connector and injector length for the engine and generation selected, no adapter harnesses required. Make sure you select the correct platform (Evo III to IX, Evo X, Galant VR4 or 3000GT VR4) at checkout, as injector length and connector type differ between the 4G63, 4B11T and 6G72TT.
A retune is required any time you change injector size. Larger injectors change the fuel map and dead time values your ECU needs to reference, so book your tuner before you fit these.

FAQ
Are these plug-and-play or do I need an adapter harness?
Plug-and-play for the platform you select at checkout. No adapter harness is needed as long as you order the correct Evo generation, Galant VR4 or 3000GT VR4 option.
Will these fit my Evo without any other changes?
Physically yes, but a retune is required. Changing injector size always needs a corresponding ECU calibration change.
Do you ship these Australia-wide?
Yes, we ship across Australia from Chicane.
What's the warranty on Injector Dynamics injectors?
Injector Dynamics injectors carry a manufacturer warranty against defects. Contact us if you need warranty support and we'll help sort it out.
Can these run on pump petrol as well as E85?
Yes. ID injectors are designed to run on petrol, E85, E100 and methanol without any hardware changes.
