Turbosmart IWG75 Wastegate Actuator 12PSI – Ford Focus RS 2.3L EcoBoost

Turbosmart IWG75 Wastegate Actuators are engineered to deliver maximum boost response and performance from your factory frame turbocharger. Designed as a direct upgrade over OEM actuators, the IWG75 Series offers a significant improvement in turbo control, responsiveness, and efficiency across the full RPM range.

This improvement is made possible by an increased working ratio, achieved by expanding the effective diaphragm surface area and optimising internal spring design. This enhanced leverage allows the actuator to better manage forces such as boost pressure and exhaust backpressure while maintaining fast and precise response.

When installed with the same base pressure as the factory unit, these actuators offer improved performance without requiring ECU tuning. However, when fitted with a higher base pressure spring, additional tuning and recalibration are recommended to fully realise the gains.

Notes:
The 12psi actuator is a direct replacement for the factory item and typically does not require tuning. The 14psi version and higher pressure setups may require ECU calibration for optimal performance and reliability.
