The factory intercooler on the FL5 is highly prone to heat soak, especially during spirited driving or when running increased boost. Excessive intake air temperatures not only sap power but also increase the risk of knock and engine stress. PRL’s bar-and-plate intercooler upgrade solves these issues by drastically improving cooling efficiency and airflow.

This high-performance intercooler features a massive 28.35 x 4.3 x 7.25" core rated for 600+ horsepower, with 31% more surface area than stock. Machined billet aluminium end tanks optimise flow and durability, while extended fins span the full width of the front bumper opening to maximise cooling efficiency for both the intercooler and the radiator behind it.

Compatible with the factory charge piping or PRL’s Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit, this intercooler uses OEM mounting locations and hardware for a seamless install and fitment with factory shrouds and air ducts.
