This direct fit kit is designed to give your Subaru WRX or STI the extra thermal headroom needed for spirited driving, track days, or daily rally-style abuse.

This listing covers the Subaru WRX and STI (GD/GG chassis), suiting both automatic and manual applications. The kit is available in Sleek Silver or Stealth Black cooler finishes, and with either the standard oil sandwich plate or the rear-mounted thermostat sandwich plate for finer temperature control - select your preferred combination from the variant options on this listing.

Note: Installation requires trimming of the factory exhaust heat shield. This kit is not compatible with vehicles fitted with a front mount intercooler.

Specifications

• Adds approximately 0.47 L of additional oil capacity
• Reduces oil temperatures by more than 11°C (20°F) with minimal pressure loss
• Recommended torque for straight fittings and banjo bolts: 20-34 Nm (15-25 lb-ft)
• Do not exceed maximum torque rating of 47 Nm (35 ft-lb)
