APR built this transmission catch can and breather system to solve a genuine weak point on the DQ500 DSG/S tronic gearbox. The factory breather setup is prone to being overwhelmed, sending transmission fluid spraying through the engine bay. On the Audi RS3 and TT RS, APR's compact, larger capacity can captures expanded fluid and vents trapped gases through a proper breather filter, with fluid entering at an angle to stop it blasting straight through.
