The unit simulates an auxiliary ECU signal on the vehicle's OBD network and requires a unique network address, separate from the vehicle's factory ECUs.

Note: Additional wiring is required if you want to output a 0-5V analogue or RS232 serial signal to a separate data logger. This is user supplied and not included with the gauge.
