GFB built the DV+ around a simple idea: keep what works, fix what doesn't. Rather than ripping out the entire factory diverter valve system, GFB retains the OE solenoid coil (which is genuinely fast and well engineered) and replaces only the failure prone plastic valve mechanism with a billet aluminium housing and precision machined brass piston. The result is sharper throttle response and a valve that holds boost reliably, even on tuned MINI Cooper S and Peugeot 308 GTi engines.
