Overview
The Process West Verti-Cooler for the Subaru Forester XT (2008–2012) redefines top mount intercooling with a unique slant-mount design. Developed through motorsport experience and real-world testing, the Verti-Cooler offers superior charge air cooling and efficient airflow management for improved performance and engine reliability.

Original Intercooling Limitations
Factory top mount intercoolers suffer from poor airflow exit paths, creating heat-soak and reducing efficiency during sustained use. Simply increasing core size without addressing this airflow issue leads to diminishing returns.

Verti-Cooler Advantage
Process West solves the issue with a large bar & plate intercooler core (400mm flow length × 205mm stack height × 120mm thick), mounted at a 15° slant. This design allows for direct air entry through a dedicated hood duct and smooth exit through the transmission tunnel. The result is consistent cooling, lower intake temps, and improved throttle response. The Verti-Cooler also offers the largest core volume of any aftermarket top mount intercooler for the 08–12 Forester XT.
