The Process West Top Mount Intercooler Kit for the 2004–2007 Subaru Forester XT is engineered for maximum performance and cooling efficiency. Designed to address critical airflow and heat-soak issues found in factory and competitor setups, this upgrade delivers real power gains and reliability for your turbocharged Forester.

Why Upgrade?
Most aftermarket intercoolers overlook proper ducting, causing large sections of the core to miss ambient airflow. This kit includes a correctly sized under-bonnet splitter, ensuring 100% of the intercooler receives direct airflow from the scoop—no wasted potential.

Optimised Core Thickness
Thicker isn’t always better. Many intercoolers restrict airflow with oversized cores. Process West uses a 90mm thick core—ideal for heat exchange and minimal pressure drop, delivering lower intake temps and improved throttle response.

Even Air Distribution
Included is a high-quality silicone Y-pipe designed for balanced airflow across the entire intercooler core. This avoids the uneven flow problems found in other Y-pipe designs, boosting both consistency and performance.

Dyno & Road Proven
On a stock WRX (comparable platform), dyno testing showed a power increase from 90kW to 115.5kW at the wheels with significantly reduced intake temperatures. Road testing confirmed consistent outlet temps under 43°C—even under sustained load—while the factory setup exceeded 72°C.
