DIXCEL FS Two-Piece Front Brake Rotors (Pair) - Nissan GT-R R35 (CBA-R35) - 380x34mm
Step up your Nissan GT-R R35's front braking performance with DIXCEL FS-Series two-piece brake rotors, engineered in Japan and developed through decades of OEM supply and motorsport experience. The FS-Series represents DIXCEL's premium two-piece rotor line, combining a lightweight aluminium centre hat with a precision-cast iron friction ring for reduced unsprung mass, improved thermal management, and superior performance over single-piece OEM rotors under demanding street and circuit conditions.
This listing covers a matched left and right pair of DIXCEL FS two-piece 380x34mm vented front brake rotors (part number FS-38034B24R/25L) designed for the early Nissan GT-R R35 (CBA-R35) chassis, produced from December 2007 to November 2010. The two-piece floating-style construction allows the friction ring to expand and contract independently of the hub, reducing rotor warping and providing more consistent pedal feel under repeat heavy braking - critical for a car as fast and as heavy as the R35 GT-R. The aluminium centre hat is precision CNC-machined for corrosion resistance, while the iron friction ring is cast and finished to DIXCEL's strict quality standards.
Nissan GT-R R35 Chassis Generations
The R35 GT-R went through multiple chassis updates during its production run, each with revised brake hardware. This listing is specifically for the CBA-R35 generation only:
- CBA-R35: 2007 - 2010 (this listing's fitment)
- DBA-R35: 2011 - 2016 (different brake fitment - not covered by this listing)
- R35 (refresh): 2017 onwards (different brake fitment - not covered by this listing)
The CBA-R35 includes the standard GT-R, the Black Edition, and the Premium Edition trims produced during the pre-DBA refresh production run. Confirm your vehicle's chassis code from the compliance plate or registration documents before ordering.

FAQ
DIXCEL Brake Pads – Frequently Asked Questions
DIXCEL pads are engineered in Japan to provide improved stopping power, stronger pedal feel, heat resistance and long-term durability. They offer a more controlled braking feel than OEM pads, especially under repeated braking.
- EC Type: Daily street use – quiet & comfortable.
- Premium Type: OEM-plus upgrade for comfort & usability.
- M Type: Ultra-low dust – keeps wheels clean.
- ES Type: Spirited driving & winding roads.
- S Type: Street-sports & occasional track.
- Z Type: Street → supersprints → light circuit.
- RE / Specom B: Motorsport-only – not suitable for road use.
Most street-compound DIXCEL pads include wear sensors if the vehicle requires them. Some cars do not use sensors at all. If your vehicle normally runs a wear sensor and the pad set does not include one, a replacement sensor can be added separately as an optional extra.
Street-focused pads generally include anti-squeal shims and grease. Motorsport compounds typically do not include shims due to high temperature operation and racing caliper design.
Pad life depends heavily on vehicle weight, brake temperature, pad compound and driving style. Gentle daily commuting will see much longer life than repeated hard braking, spirited driving or track use, which can wear pads significantly faster.
Street compounds are designed to minimise noise. Motorsport pads may squeal when cold or lightly used – this is normal behaviour at race-level temperatures.
Yes — bedding-in is essential for correct friction transfer. Perform several medium-pressure stops to apply material to the rotor, followed by light driving to cool the brakes before heavy use.
