Injector Dynamics has officially released the full X-Series injector range for the Toyota GR Yaris (GXPA16), GR Corolla (GZEA14) and Lexus LBX Morizo RR (GAYA16) — ID1050-XDS, ID1300-XDS, ID1750-XDS and ID2600-XDS, all built to spec for the G16E-GTS three-cylinder. Every set ships as a matched group of three with the correct top and bottom O-rings, plugs and pins.

If you've been holding off on a serious fuel system upgrade for your G16E-GTS-powered car because the OEM injectors were tapping out, this is the news you've been waiting for. Four injector sizes covering everything from a stock-turbo bolt-on tune all the way through to a dedicated motorsport build, all built in partnership with Bosch Motorsport.

You can browse the full set of options on the Injector Dynamics G16E-GTS product page at Chicane Australia — flow rate is selected from the variant dropdown.

One Important Install Note — Harness Adapter

Before we dive into the injectors themselves, there's one detail worth flagging. The factory G16E-GTS harness uses Denso-style connectors, while Injector Dynamics injectors are fitted with the industry-standard USCAR connector. Each ID set ships with the necessary USCAR adapter plugs and pins as part of the kit, so the injectors connect directly to the factory harness with no splicing or harness modifications required. It's a small thing, but worth knowing up front — if you're sourcing injectors from elsewhere, make sure the adapter is on the list. With our Chicane Australia kits, it's already in the box.

ID1050-XDS — The New Reference

The ID1050-XDS is the evolution of the legendary ID1000, and the latest addition to the X-Series. It's the result of everything Injector Dynamics learned developing the bigger X-Series injectors, and it's positioned to become the new benchmark in the 1000cc class.

Nominal flow rate is 1065cc/min at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi) on gasoline, with a maximum differential fuel pressure of 10.0 Bar (145 psi). It's compatible with all known fuels, and the improved internal flow path delivers a 5% output gain over the ID1000 without sacrificing low-flow performance. The stronger magnetic circuit means stable operation right up to 10 bar.

This is the right pick if you're running pump 98 or E85 with a moderate power target — bolt-ons, supporting mods, and a tune. The low-flow behaviour is genuinely excellent, so you'll get a clean idle and crisp part-throttle even with the larger flow rate. Plenty of headroom for an upgraded turbo down the track without needing to change injectors again. Order the ID1050-XDS set →

ID1300-XDS — The Multi-Fuel All-Rounder

Designed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport, the ID1300-XDS was originally the only performance injector available with full stainless internals. It's compatible with every known fuel and stands up to the corrosive nature of alcohol better than anything else on the market.

Nominal flow rate is 1340cc/min at 3.0 Bar on iso-octane, with a maximum differential fuel pressure of 6.0 Bar (87 psi). The full stainless steel internals are designed for extended service life with corrosive alternative fuels.

Despite being designed with ethanol-fuelled engines in mind, ID engineered a minimum fuel mass that's compatible with gasoline use, so you'll still get exceptional idle and cruise behaviour if you flip back to pump fuel. If you're targeting a flex-fuel build or a serious E85 setup pushing into the 400–500hp range, this is your injector. Order the ID1300-XDS set →

ID1750-XDS — The Best Just Got Better

The ID1750-XDS is the successor to the ID1700, and it brings genuine improvements to what was already a benchmark big-flow injector. Compared to the ID1700 it offers a higher dynamic flow rate with no increase in minimum fuel mass, better cylinder-to-cylinder balance at low pulse widths, and improved pressure sensitivity — all while retaining the same "compatible with everything but dirt" corrosion resistance the ID1700 was famous for.

Nominal flow rate is 1728cc/min at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi), tested on E10 emissions certification fuel at 49°C, with a maximum differential fuel pressure of 7.0 Bar (101.5 psi). It's compatible with methanol, ethanol, MTBE, nitromethane, and all known hydrocarbon fuels.

This is your injector for serious E85 power on a built motor, or extreme high-horsepower gasoline applications. If you're chasing 500+ wheel on E85 or running an exotic fuel, the ID1750-XDS is purpose-built for it. The big improvement over the old 1700 is the low-pulsewidth balance — meaning even with this much flow, you still get clean idle and cruise behaviour rather than the lumpy low-load fuelling that used to come with injectors of this size. ID2600-XDS — The Motorsport Flagship

The ID2600-XDS is the highest-flowing injector Bosch makes — full stop. Developed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport, it flows 50% more than the original ID1700 and is purpose-built for dedicated motorsport applications and extreme-output builds. If you're serious enough about the GR platform to be reading this section, you already know whether you need it.

Nominal flow rate is 2600cc/min at 3.0 Bar (43.5 psi), with a maximum differential fuel pressure of 9.0 Bar (130.5 psi). The injector requires a minimum 11 volts to operate properly — worth noting for vehicles with marginal charging systems. Fuel compatibility covers methanol, ethanol, and all known hydrocarbon fuels — but unlike the smaller injectors in the range, the ID2600-XDS is not compatible with ether-based fuels (MTBE, ETBE, TAME) or nitromethane, so check your fuel chemistry before ordering.

The ID2600-XDS also benefits from ID's Dual Slope Matching process — a refinement that reduces non-linear range deviation from ±5.1% with traditional Slope Intercept matching down to ±1.4%. In plain English, you get cleaner idle, better cruise behaviour and tighter cylinder-to-cylinder fuelling at low pulse widths than any other 2600cc injector on the market — which matters because a 2600cc injector spends an enormous proportion of its operating life at very low duty cycles when you're not on full noise.

This is the injector for dedicated motorsport GR builds, drag setups running methanol, or any build with serious ambitions on E85. It will support well over 200hp per injector in alcohol applications. Order the ID2600-XDS set →

Which Injector Should You Run?

The honest answer depends on your fuel of choice and your power target — but here's the rough guide we'd give a customer over the phone.

Stock turbo, supporting mods, pump 98 or E85 tune — go ID1050-XDS. Plenty of headroom and the low-flow behaviour means it drives like stock.

Upgraded turbo, flex-fuel build, 400–500hp on E85 — go ID1300-XDS. The all-stainless internals are a long-term investment for ethanol, and you've got room to grow.

Built motor, big single, serious E85 power — go ID1750-XDS. Don't undersize for a build at this level. Duty cycle headroom matters, and the new low-pulsewidth balancing means you don't pay a drivability penalty for going big.

Dedicated motorsport, drag methanol, or extreme-output E85 builds — go ID2600-XDS. This is the top of the range, and if your power target is in the territory where the ID1750 is borderline, the 2600 is the right answer.

If you're genuinely unsure, get in touch before you order. We'd rather sell you the right injector once than the wrong one twice.

Why Injector Dynamics?

ID injectors aren't modified production components — they're built-to-spec motorsport injectors developed in partnership with Bosch Motorsport. Every set is matched within tight tolerances using ID's Dual Slope Matching process, which extends matching accuracy into the lower non-linear operating range rather than just static flow. The result is even cylinder-to-cylinder fuelling across the full operating range, not just at WOT.

Every injector comes fully characterised with OEM-quality tuning data, and the X-Series corrosion-resistant internals genuinely matter if you're running ethanol or methanol over the long term. For the G16E-GTS specifically, ID has built the injectors to drop straight into the factory rail position, with the USCAR-to-Denso adapter components included in every kit.

Supporting Fuel System Upgrades for the GR Platform

Injectors are one piece of the fuel system puzzle. Depending on your power target, you may need to upgrade other components to keep up — and Radium Engineering makes a comprehensive range of GR-specific parts that pair perfectly with these injectors.

The Radium Engineering G16E-GTS fuel rail (P/N 20-0766) is the natural pairing for an ID injector setup. It's machined with a 0.6" internal bore that supports any power target you're likely to throw at the platform, end ports tapped to 8AN ORB, top ports to 6AN ORB, and stainless mounting tabs for proper strength. It fits under the factory engine cover, and the OEM injectors are compatible with it too if you want to install the rail first and add injectors later.

For a true bolt-on factory fuel system upgrade, add the Radium Plumbing Kit (P/N 20-0766-PK). This is the plug-and-play connection between the new rail and the factory fuel feed line and pressure sensor — 6AN and 8AN ORB fittings, an 8AN ORB clamp adapter for the OEM fuel pressure sensor, and adapters to position the SAE quick-connect fuel feed in the correct location. With the rail and plumbing kit combined, the entire upgrade ties straight into the stock fuel system with no custom plumbing required.

If you're pushing into ID1750-XDS or ID2600-XDS territory and running a serious E85 or methanol build, you'll also want to look at the Radium FST-R surge tank — the same surge tank Lamspeed Racing ran on their world-record GR Yaris (10.5 @ 131mph in the quarter, 1:36.8 at WTAC 2022). For builds at that level you're looking at a complete fuel system rethink — surge tank, dual pumps, return-style plumbing, and a properly-sized regulator.
