BREMBO UPGRADE kits and pads are available for a range of Japanese and European performance platforms, including Subaru WRX and WRX STI, Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ, BMW M2, M3 and M4, Audi RS3, and Honda Civic Type R. Caliper piston count and disc size vary by chassis, so the right GT or Pista kit for an M4 won't be the same part number as one for a GR86. UPGRADE components are designed around the specific chassis, so ABS and master cylinder behaviour stays close to factory, which matters more than people expect when they're used to a stock pedal feel. We've sold GT kits into WRX and GR86 platforms where the factory brakes are the first thing to fade on a track day, and the jump in pedal consistency after a few hot laps is the real reason people upgrade, not just the look of a red caliper behind a wheel.

For cars like the M3/M4 and RS3 that already come with reasonably strong factory brakes, we tend to point customers toward BREMBO Sport pads and TY3 rotors first, and only step up to a Pista kit if they're doing dedicated track days. Matching pad compound to how the car is actually driven is the difference between a setup that works and one that just looks the part.

Big brake kits change your wheel clearance requirements, so it's worth checking your wheel offset and spacer setup before ordering, especially on WRX and GR86 builds running smaller aftermarket wheels. GT and Pista kits also typically require a change in brake fluid to a higher-temperature spec if you're stepping up to track use, and some kits need longer brake lines depending on suspension travel. On EU-delivered platforms like the M3/M4 and RS3, factory brake sensor wiring and pad wear sensors need to be transferred or matched to the new pads, which is an easy thing to miss on a first install.
