Radium Engineering Fuel Surge Tank Install Kit – Mitsubishi EVO X

This Radium Engineering install kit includes everything required to mount and plumb a single-pump Radium Fuel Surge Tank (FST) in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. The FST itself is sold separately and can be selected based on your desired fuel pump configuration. This kit is not compatible with models that use the large OEM windshield washer reservoir—please verify your reservoir before ordering.

Overview:
This kit securely mounts the FST behind the rear seat, tucked inside the trunk behind the factory trim panels. This location retains 100% of usable trunk space and requires no cutting or drilling. The aluminum bracket is powder-coated and bolts to existing OEM bosses. The kit also retains the OEM battery and washer reservoir.

All PTFE fuel hoses are pre-cut and assembled with -6AN fittings for a direct fit to the OEM fuel system. PTFE construction ensures compatibility with all fuels including ethanol and methanol (E85) while eliminating vapor permeability. The hoses are abrasion-resistant with stainless steel inner braid and protective black PVC outer sheathing.

A complete wiring solution is also provided, including a weatherproof relay, fuse, and Raychem crimp connectors. Wiring assembly is straightforward—no soldering is required.

Notes:

• The OEM fuel pump return port may restrict fuel flow when using a high-flow pump. Modifying the return port to a larger diameter is optional and detailed in the instructions to promote proper fuel recirculation.
