This Radium Engineering installation kit includes everything needed to install a single-pump Radium Fuel Surge Tank (FST) in the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII and IX. The FST itself is sold separately and must be selected based on fuel pump configuration. Note: This kit is not compatible with the Radium MPFST.

Vehicle Compatibility:

  • 2003–2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII-IX

Overview:
The FST is mounted behind the rear seat in a collision-safe area of the trunk using a black anodized aluminum bracket that bolts directly to the OEM V-brace. This location allows most of the trunk space to remain usable, and the pump assembly is isolated behind the OEM carpet trim for reduced noise and vibration.

All included fuel hoses are preassembled using -6AN PTFE lines. These hoses are ethanol and methanol compatible and non-permeable, eliminating fuel odor inside the vehicle. The stainless steel braid and black PVC coating offer maximum strength and abrasion resistance.

A complete wiring kit is also included, featuring Raychem solderless butt splices, a sealed relay, and an in-line fuse holder. Wiring installation is simple and requires no soldering.

Key Features:

  • Collision-safe trunk-mounted installation

  • Compatible with all Radium FSTs using 39mm fuel pumps

  • -6AN PTFE preassembled hoses for all fuels including E85

  • OEM fuel system integration with AN adapter fittings

  • No permanent modifications required

  • Includes complete sealed wiring solution

Notes:
Due to a restrictive return port on the OEM fuel pump housing, a slight increase in static fuel pressure may occur when using a high-flow pump. This can be addressed by modifying the venturi jet pump in the OEM return line, as outlined in the installation instructions.
