Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit PCV – Nissan Z33 / V35 (VQ35DE)

The Radium Engineering PCV catch can kit runs inline between the PCV valve and the intake manifold to prevent crankcase vapors, unspent fuel, and oil sludge from entering the intake system. When the intake manifold pressure is close to or greater than atmospheric pressure, the PCV "check" valve closes, preventing any flow through the hose. During idling, cruising, or decelerating, the system experiences "metered" vacuum to draw out harmful vapors and contaminants. Since Radium catch cans are pressure-sealed, no additional inline check valve is required, allowing for a direct intake manifold connection.

The catch can mounts to the OEM power steering reservoir bracket. This setup captures unwanted crankcase vapor, unspent fuel, and oil sludge, promoting clean filtered air back into the intake manifold.

Notes:

1. The PCV catch can kit is not compatible with VQ35HR vehicles, as they have a noncompatible P/S reservoir mount.

2. No extra inline check valve is required since Radium catch cans are pressure sealed.
