Radium Engineering Fluid Lock Catch Can Kit (CCV) Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution (VIII / IX)

This Radium Engineering catch can kit is designed to capture oil and fuel vapors from the crankcase ventilation (CCV) system before they enter the turbo inlet. It installs next to the left-hand strut tower and is compatible with all Mitsubishi Evolution VIII and IX models.

Overview:
The CCV catch can is plumbed in-line between the valve cover breather port and the turbo intake pipe. During high load or wide-open throttle, this line can experience significant crankcase blow-by which carries oil, unburned fuel, and vapors into the intake system. The Radium catch can captures these contaminants to prevent oil build-up in the turbo, intercooler, and intake piping—helping maintain engine performance and reliability.

This catch can may also be converted to a vent-to-atmosphere setup by adding a breather filter (Radium part number 20-0050, sold separately). However, note that certain battery configurations may limit space for this option.
