Overview
The Process West Verti-Cooler Kit for the Subaru WRX (2015–2021 VA) is a high-performance, slant-mounted intercooler system engineered to dramatically improve charge air cooling. Designed to address airflow inefficiencies found in traditional top-mount setups, the Verti-Cooler provides consistent performance and lower intake temperatures under demanding street or track conditions.

Why Verti-Cooler?
Unlike factory intercoolers that suffer from heat soak and poor airflow exit paths, the Verti-Cooler mounts at a 15° near-vertical angle. This design forces cool air directly through the core and allows heated air to exit cleanly through the transmission tunnel, improving efficiency and engine durability.

Using a massive bar and plate core (400mm x 205mm x 120mm), this is the largest aftermarket intercooler available for the VA WRX. It comes complete with a dedicated under-hood duct/splitter that ensures even ambient airflow across the entire core surface.
