The Dixcel Type EC front brake pads are a smart, street-focused upgrade for the Honda Civic Type R FK8 and FL5. Designed for daily driving, these pads deliver improved braking performance over standard OEM pads while reducing brake dust and noise — all at an affordable price.

Made from a non-asbestos organic (NAO) compound, the Type EC pads are gentle on rotors and include an initial scorch treatment for quicker bedding-in. Built-in wear sensors and anti-squeal shims (where applicable) ensure quiet, trouble-free operation from the start.
