Dixcel Specom-β (Specom B) Brake Pads – Flat Type

The Dixcel Specom-β is a high-performance racing brake pad developed for hard circuit use and endurance racing. Based on the special compound used in domestic endurance races, the Specom-β delivers exceptionally high wear resistance and stability for consistent performance over long sessions.

About the Specom Series:

Dixcel has provided technical support to teams competing in Super GT, Super Taikyu, GT3 standard races, and other events. The technology and data cultivated through these races have been fully incorporated into the Specom series. The Specom-β is guaranteed to achieve good results in races.

Important Notes:

• This type is designed for heavy circuit use only
• Does not include wear sensor (sensor function will not work due to high heat damage)
• Requires proper bedding procedure before race use
• Using on the street may result in abnormal wear, squealing, dust, and rust
• Must be used within appropriate temperature range for optimal performance

Bedding Procedure:

To ensure racing pads perform to their full potential, they must be heated and broken in before the race. While avoiding hard braking, raise the disc rotor temperature to around 500°C to allow the brake pads to make contact with the disc rotor. Once achieved, stop driving and allow the disc rotor to cool naturally to below 100°C.
