Overview
The Dixcel RE Type brake pads are engineered specifically for hard circuit and rally use. With ABS-compatible performance, these pads minimise unwanted ABS intervention during aggressive braking and deliver a flat μ characteristic for precise control. Designed to suit sprint racing, rally stages, and vehicles running high-grip radial, S-compound, or slick tyres, the RE Type provides excellent initial bite, stable friction levels, and consistent braking under extreme conditions.

Bedding Procedure
To achieve full braking performance, the pads must be correctly bedded. Gradually raise rotor temperature to approx. 500°C with controlled braking, then allow to cool naturally below 100°C. This process allows a transfer film to form on the rotor surface, essential for maximum effectiveness.
