Overview
The Dixcel RE Type brake pads are designed for competition use, offering the perfect balance between braking power and ABS compatibility. Developed for sprint racing, rally, and circuit driving, the RE Type features a carbon semi-metallic compound that delivers flat and consistent friction characteristics for precise control. With milder initial bite compared to more aggressive compounds, the RE Type reduces ABS intervention while still providing excellent stopping power for high-performance applications.

Bedding-In Procedure
For competition pads to perform at their full potential, a proper bedding-in process is required:

• Start with 50% braking for ~5 minutes, then cool for 5 minutes.
• Follow with 70–80% braking for ~10 minutes, then cool for 10 minutes.
• Gradually increase braking force from 80% to 100% until full pad and disc film transfer is achieved.

This ensures optimal performance, longevity, and consistency of the pads under extreme conditions.

Important Notes
These pads are strictly intended for motorsport use. If used outside their operating temperature range, or on the street, issues such as excessive dust, noise, or reduced rotor life may occur.
