Overview
The DIXCEL RE Type brake pads are engineered for circuit and racing applications, offering ABS-friendly performance with a milder initial bite. By significantly reducing ABS involvement, these pads deliver superior control and modulation, making them ideal for sprint racing and vehicles equipped with high-grip radial, semi-slick, or slick tyres. With consistent braking characteristics across a wide temperature range, the RE Type supports a variety of driving styles, from street and winding roads to gymkhana, dirt trial, rally, and circuit use.

Important Notes
If used for normal street driving, the pads may produce increased dust and noise while reducing disc life. The same issues may occur during circuit use if operated outside the effective temperature range.

Bedding-In Procedure
To ensure optimal performance, competition-use brake pads require proper bedding-in:

• Begin with 50% braking for 5 minutes, then cool for at least 5 minutes.
• Repeat with 70–80% braking for 10 minutes, followed by a 10-minute cooling period.
• Gradually increase braking force from 80% to 100% until full bedding is achieved.
