Dixcel RE Type Brake Pads – ABS Compatible Racing Pad

The Dixcel RE Type is a high-performance racing brake pad designed for sprint races with ABS-equipped vehicles. Engineered to minimise ABS intervention while delivering high initial effectiveness, the RE Type offers flat μ characteristics that provide excellent control according to pedal pressure.

Important Notes:

• This type is designed for heavy circuit use only
• Does not include wear sensor (sensor function will not work due to high heat damage)
• Requires proper bedding procedure before race use
• Using on the street may result in abnormal wear, squealing, dust, and rust
• Must be used within appropriate temperature range for optimal performance

Bedding Procedure:

To ensure racing pads perform to their full potential, they must be heated and broken in before the race. While avoiding hard braking, raise the disc rotor temperature to around 500°C to allow the brake pads to make contact with the disc rotor. Once achieved, stop driving and allow the disc rotor to cool naturally to below 100°C.
