The AEM 100 PSIa (7 BAR) MAP Sensor Kit is a high-precision, stainless steel pressure sensor designed for demanding performance applications. Engineered for accurate manifold pressure measurement relative to absolute zero, this sensor is ideal for high-boost turbocharged engines requiring precise vacuum and boost data for ECU calibration or data logging.

Absolute vs Gauge Pressure – Know the Difference
This PSIa sensor measures absolute pressure, meaning it includes atmospheric pressure in its readings—making it essential for applications where vacuum measurement is required. At sea level, it will display approximately 14.7 PSI when open to atmosphere. This differs from PSIg (gauge-style) sensors, which read 0 PSI at atmospheric pressure and are commonly used for oil, fuel, brake, and nitrous pressure monitoring.

Key Features

  • Sensor Range: 100 PSIa (7 BAR Absolute)

  • Sensor Material: Corrosion-resistant stainless steel body

  • Accuracy: ±1% margin of error

  • Thread Type: 1/8" NPT male

  • Connector: Includes weather-resistant connector and pins

  • Adapters Included: 1/8" NPT to -4 AN adapter for flexible installation

Applications

  • Ideal for high-boost turbocharged or supercharged engines

  • Suitable for use as a MAP sensor in standalone or piggyback ECU systems

  • Recommended for motorsport, dyno tuning, and data logging environments where accuracy is critical

Precision You Can Trust
When accurate data matters, AEM’s stainless sensors are the benchmark. Brass sensors may provide a reference reading—but for real calibration and tuning precision, stainless is the professional’s choice.
