The FUNK MOTORSPORT Mk3 Turbo Blanket is the industry-leading thermal management solution for the BMW M2 (G87) and the S58-powered M3 (G80) and M4 (G82). Featuring a signature 4-layer construction, these blankets provide up to three times more thermal protection than standard alternatives, capable of reducing engine bay temperatures by up to 90%. By insulating the hot side of the turbo, heat is retained within the exhaust gases, increasing gas velocity to improve turbo spool-up and throttle response.

Engineered for maximum durability, the Mk3 blankets utilise a fireproof, ultra-high temperature 1mm stainless steel thread and ceramic silica internal insulation. This advanced design allows the blanket to withstand temperatures in excess of 1300°C while remaining durable enough to be removed and reinstalled during routine maintenance. Available in both Titanium and Carbon Fibre twill finishes, it offers a professional motorsport aesthetic while protecting sensitive engine bay electronics, oil lines, and bodywork from extreme radiant heat.
