It pairs a 7+7 splitter-blade compressor wheel and Inconel turbine wheel with Turbosmart's proprietary dual ceramic bearing system for a low rotating mass and sharp transient response. Turbine housings are lightweight investment-cast 310S stainless steel and the compressor cover is aluminium.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNote:\u003c\/strong\u003e Choose the turbine housing to suit your manifold - T3, T4, T4 divided and V-band inlet options are listed, including reverse rotation versions. Externally wastegated versions need a separate external wastegate. The TS-2 is water cooled as well as oil cooled, so it needs a coolant feed and return in addition to the oil feed and drain. Turbosmart rates the 7170 at 880-1040hp.
