The zero-offset butterfly pivots centrally, so exhaust drive pressure acts equally on both halves and the valve is self-balancing, and the straight-through path flows more than a poppet valve that has to turn the gas 90 degrees. Vacuum-based control allows strategies such as holding the gate fully open at cold start, and can suit some factory boost control systems originally used with vacuum-operated internal wastegate actuators.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNote:\u003c\/strong\u003e Pre-fitted with 6 inHg springs. The actuator supports single or twin port control for simple connection or boost assist. Tuning is required.
