It is made for rebuilt and modified engines where the head seal has to hold more cylinder pressure than a factory gasket.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChoose the thickness to suit your build. It comes in a 93.5 mm bore and thicknesses of 1.1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. A thicker gasket lowers compression and adds piston-to-head clearance, so measure deck height and set the thickness with your engine builder. The thickness shown is Siruda's figure at the combustion seal; the body thickness is in the specifications.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSiruda's grommet design puts a metal grommet around each bore to hold back combustion gas under high cylinder pressure, including the spikes that come with knock.
