It uses a Garrett vertical-flow core measuring 610 x 203 x 89mm (24" x 8" x 3.5"), with air flowing from bottom to top, which packages well in the VB. Tapered formed-aluminium end tanks spread pressure evenly across the core for better cooling, and each tank has a machined billet 64mm (2.5") inlet or outlet.

Available in black or silver powder coat. Both are the same core; only the finish differs.

Note: Not compatible with CSF radiators. Core only. It needs the COBB WRX VB hot and cold pipe kit and mounting parts from the COBB front mount intercooler kit. Works with the stock tune or COBB off-the-shelf maps. Installation by a professional is recommended.

Features

Garrett vertical-flow core, 610 x 203 x 89mm (24" x 8" x 3.5")

Tapered formed sheet aluminium end tanks for even flow across the core

Machined billet aluminium 64mm (2.5") inlet and outlet

Black or silver powder coat finish

Compatible with the stock tune or COBB off-the-shelf maps

Same core as supplied in the COBB WRX VB front mount intercooler kit

Pairs Well With

COBB Charge Pipe Kit - Subaru WRX (VB)

COBB Intercooler Hot and Cold Pipe Kit - Subaru WRX (VB)

COBB Redline Carbon Fibre Power Scoop - Subaru WRX (VB)

Need help confirming fitment?
