The Flat Drive pump suits the conventional flat collar, and Nitto strongly recommends its extended Flat Drive crank collar. The Sine Drive pump uses Nitto's own 11-tooth sine-wave drive, developed to cope with anti-lag, two-step and hard acceleration and braking, and it requires the Nitto Sine Drive collar.
